any of you guys knows of any good headunits at around $500 that matches the dash perfectly and sits flush?? thanks

 

Yea, I'm alson in the hunt for a matching head unit, look in price range of 300 and below.

 

I have a Kenwood in my 2.8Q, don't know the model number on the unit or anything, came with the car when I bought it used and I didn't get the manual for the unit with the car. The headunit does sit flush with the dash and looks decent with the rest of the interior. I heard that headunits are tough to install in Audis, wasn't really aware of that but a few people have told me that some guys won't even install a unit in an Audi, that was news to me.

 

They are not that hard to install, they are just time consuming in making them look "clean".

 

Blaupunkt has some nice ones, with front similar to the dash panel, and with matching coloured lights (audi red).

 

I just got my new headunit today at bestbuy. Tomorrow I'm getting it installed.
