I have been experiencing power steering problems in my 1998 audi a4 Quattro 1.8L turbo.
here's what's up:

-Low & bubbling hydraulic fluid in reservoir
-hard to turn steering wheel (gets easier when I hit the gas)
-There are no strange noises

So I looked at the power steering pump and found a small leak. (about one drop of hydraulic fluid per 20 seconds. It seems to be coming from a hole on the passenger side of the power steering pump.

If you look at the picture below, It's the topmost hole that the leak is coming from - looks like there is a plug missing?? I NEED TO KNOW WHAT THE PART NUMBER FOR THIS PLUG IS!

I found a thread on an "X plug" kit, but it seems that that plug is on the intake side of the pump, whereas my leak is coming from the firewall side. not sure if this is the right one??

Correction - this hole is on the FIREWALL side of the power steering pump. not the passenger side.
