help for an audi noob

my brother has an a4 quattro (not sure what year, but within the last 5 years). he just wrecked it by swerving to miss debris in the road and hitting a curb. two wheels and tires are destroyed. im not sure how the axles or control arms are yet. hes fine

im a subaru wrx guy, so i dont know audis. hes wanting new wheels possibly and im wondering where he should start looking. i saw links on the sticky threads up top, and will be checking those out. what are some good lightweight strong and cheap wheels for an audi. (i realize those are all impossible, but pick as many as possible). i dont even know the wheel offsets or specific lug patterns of an a4.

any help is much appreciated.

I don't know exactly what you're looking for buit the lug pattern is 5X112 IIRC.

RE: help for an audi noob

thanks guys. i think hes lookin for a wheel close to the same as stock. probably a 17 or 18 inch 5 spoke. are there any good brands for audis? i have rotas which are a popular cheap, lightweight wheel for my subaru. i havent seen any rotas with a 5x112 pattern though. also what is the offset audis need? thanks alot for the help

by the way his is a grey (dolphin grey or somethin) a4. so any opinions on what would look good (not too flashy/racy/ect) are appreciated.

I used rotas as my winter wheels on my other cars.

RS4 wheels or replicas aren't bad.
