Help with BOV... Update!

OK so the previous owner of my somewhat new(to me) 98 Audi 1.8T installed a HKS BOV. I know all the issues with it. I am running about 6% Rich and I get a little lag when I shift. I need to know what my best option would be for a DV or should I get a reirculation kit for the BOV?

I am running about 16psi out of my KO4 Turbo. Will a DV be safe or will it put to much pressure back into the engine? If someone knows where to find the reirculation kit and could let me know that would be great.

Thanks

Best bet is still a dv,im not sure if the one off the tt is strong enough but you can look into bailey, forge seems to be popular.

If I were you, I wouldn't spend the extra coin to get the DV. Just get a recirc kit. I have no idea where to get them but try the "links" second at the top of the A4 forum. Maybe try Renn-Art.

Is it adjustable?

You can probably get a 710N DV for close to the cost of a recirculating kit. Id just remove the whole BOV name/concept from your engine entirely, even if its a BOV functioning as a DV. People circulate 25+psi back into their engines with DV's all the time. A lot of people who boost at 18+psi use the 710N and its funcitonal and reliable. 16psi aint shit for the 710N/your engine.

True... You should be doing 22psi holding at about 20psi based on what RedjettaIII has posted just today.
