1996 a4 1.8se yesterday while cleaning my tb i noticed a hose that was snapped. on the air filter hose which i removed to clean the tb there are 2 hoses coming of the bottom 1 of these hoses runs along the side of theengine and joins onto a L shaped thickerrubber hose .can any one tell me what this hose is for and how to fix it thanks in advance

 

Sounds like you have a NA 1.8. The intake/tb system is a bit different and most of us have 1.8t's so we probably dont have that hose. Can you get a pic?
