Hello all,

I am looking in to buying a used A4. Quick background
- I am located in midwest and we get pretty decent amount of snow.
- For whatever I buy, I would go ahead and get extended warranty

Quick qn: does the manufacturer's warranty get carried over to the subsequent owners?

Here are the options I am considering:

option 1:
2007 2.0T FWD with ~8k miles (same price as 3)

option 2:
2007 2.0T AWD with ~29k miles (~$2k cheaper than 1 and 3)

option 3:
2006 2.0T AWS with ~11k miles (same price as 1)

I am torn because I am wondering if I should go with AWD or not. If AWD option 1 is out. But I think FWD should not be bad (never test driven a FWD Audi though). Ideally if Option 3 was 2007 make I would just get that because it will have 2 more years of warranty left. Right now option 3 loses some points because it has only ~9 months of warranty left.

I just bought my 2006 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro, I would not buy an Audi unless it was Quattro (AWD). Having all-wheel drive will help so much, it really hugs the road and your stopping and turning ratio is astounding from what I have seen. For someone who has pushed this car, they can probably attest to its superior qualities in having Quattro. I would said the AWD 2007 but I am also concerned about color and interior as well.

I need to find out how much warranty is left on my car since I just purchased it. I had one dealership trying to off load a 2005 on me and its like, well there's no warranty on it but, keep in mind this is an Audi and even though it is built more for performance if you drive it normally and dont gun it all the time I dont think there will be any issues.

My money is on the 2007 but what does it look like, does it have leather interior?
