Help!! No Lights!!
Last night I drove to another town around an hour away and when I got back I dropped off my friend and turned on my car and I have no headlights! I also quickly realized I have no turn signal, windshield washer fluid spray, wipers or the electronic display on the dash that normally shows outside temp. The weird part is that when I try to turn on my lights the parking lights come on just not the headlights and I can pull back on the bright lights switch to get my brights but I can't push it forward like I normally would.
Last night sucked driving around 15 min home holding my bright lights on (and normally I would see no cops but I literally saw 3 last night). Also, I smelled a slight burning smell for around the last 30 min of the trip so if anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them. Thanks so much.

Well I just got my problem fixed this morning. Spent 5 hours last night and about 20 min this morning to change the ignition switch and test all sorts of wires. You might want to make sure before you replace that headlight switch that it is in fact that and not your ignition switch.
My steering wheel was such a PITA to get off. Not only do you have to have a special 12 point "prine" bolt but that was probably the tightest bolt I've ever broken.
If anyone ever has this same problem please PM me b/c I learned some time saving tricks for sure.

I'm running into the same issue.
I've found the cheapest ones to be from ECS Tuning at the following link:
http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/...ro&engine=1.8T
I was wondering which one I actually needed. I have a 1999, but it's not the 99.5 and the description is a little confusing. Anyone?
