I got the biggest gash on my windshield, had it replaced by Safelite in Austin, which supposedly is the best. Not only did they not reinstall the acoustic window, like I asked for, but they put the wipers on wrong!! Now they don't tuck back down and they wipe over the edge of the window... I gave them hell for not putting in the right window and stormed out of their store, which they didn't even give a crap about. Not sure what to do about the wipers, although I am tempted to contact the BBB regarding their negligence. Can I fix this at home (my husband is very mechanical) or should I take it back?

After paying $500 for the window, the last thing I want is to have to take my car to the dealership and pay more.

Please help.
