2000 2.8Q 135K Great car and engine.

 

'99 1.8T quattro sport, 195K miles. Just did the timing belt/water pump/DV and a TRE. Rear wheel bearing was done about 2 months ago, now a front one needs replaced along with FR lower control arm and sway bar links. Probably could use new struts and I have a NIB clutch waiting to be put in. All of this along with the fact that I need new tires. I'll probably have to spend about 2 grand to keep it on the road through this year. But I knew this would happen with buying such a high milage car.... I was just in better financial position when I bought it than I am now.

 

98 1.8t 146,000 - new clutch, clutch cylinders, axle and the normal bearings and brakes, will have to do the timing belt which i am completely not looking forward to....

 

2000 1.8T at 115,000. No major work. Just the basic maintenances and a new stage 2 clutch. Thank god. Time for timing belt change again.

 

99 1.8T with 75,000. Only problems I've had since I bought it is the fuel guage doesnt work properly and I believe its in limp mode.

 

1997 1.8TQ with a mear 74k. Nothing but stupid coil packs and regular matenience [ie. timing belt]

 

2001.5 93kmiles, Timing belt replaced,one wheelbearing, many oil changes.

 

01' 1.8TQ Coming up on 95,000.

 

99 2.8 with 105k

 

97 1.8T just turned 157k
