Hey! U know how to make 300 HP into 500??
Hello Peeps!!!
Got a quick question... I've got an 98 A4 2.8 Quattro. By adding a supercharger (which I will eventually do), I will gain about 100 hp making my 190 become about 300 give or take. From there I would like to add an exhaust adding another 10 to my already potentially mean machine. Other than those two mods, what other additions could I post in order to achieve a 500 hp tank? Comments are greatly appreciated... Late. |

rebuild the whole top and bottom end so you can run more compression (not boost, compression)
use a smaller pully/belt on the supercharger to gain more boost... |

200 HP shot of nitrous

High compression and boost is harder to tune, it leaves less room for error in tuning. More boost with a supercharger has limitations because eventually it just blows hot air, which is not good. Your best bet would be an intercooled setup and a shot of n2o.

Yep your goner need a IC if you wanna up the boost and Nitro is pos, you will also need a custom chip for the new setup or maybe a pig-back ecu.

Good grief. That much power would require significant upgrade to the engine itself. Stronger rods, reduced compression pistons, a lot of work on the engine's bottom end. Not to mention the transmission and other driveline components. Stick with docurley's set-up. It's what I want to do and well within the drivetrains limits.

RS6 would certainly do the job.

Dahlbach anyone?

RE: Hey! U know how to make 300 HP into 500??
Pardon me, Sir; but, do you have any Grey Poupon?
Nitrous oxide will do the job. If...IF you dont cheap out. if you want to go with nitrous, go with Dahlbach's nitrous kit. Its $1800 but it works |
