First off want to just say hi to all of you audi owners. I just recently purchased an '02 Audi A4 1.8 and I'm lovin it. From driving a mitsubishi mirage to an audi was a nice upgrade for me

But anyways I recently lost this one particular piece in my front bumper..I don't know the exact name for it. I noticed the piece was missing after coming home from work. I called a local audi parts dealer to ask for the piece but he was no real help.

I stole an image off google to show you guys what part I'm talking about highlighted in yellow. My question is what is the name of that part called and how much would it cost for me to replace one?I'm sure I can find it off ebay/craigslist/junkyard...I'm assuming someone may have popped it off but then my friend said it could have just came out on its own..is this very common?

i guess you can call it the access hole cover for the tow hook on the fron left. :dunno

 

This is the tow hook cover, it should have been attached to a little cable. Try the dealership again with the part number. You'll have to get it painted though.
