HID Bulbs Turned Yellow.....
 

Is it possible to have a ballast screw up a hid bulb? I had one working ballast and one went bad, so I ordered a new one off ebay. I hooked up the new one and it made my bulb turn yellow. Now when I hook it back up to the other ballast it stays yellow. So I took the other bulb and it did the same thing. I didn't leave them on for more than a few seconds because I didn't want them to blow. I know the bulbs were good because they worked fine connected to the other bulbs.

You turned the bulb on when you had it right side up. NEVER do that with an HID bulb. Its called salting. instantly ruins your bulb. Looks like you need to get 2 new D2S or D1S bulbs. Ouchie man, sorry to hear that.

Shiza, I have no idea what you meant by that whole salting thing, or "turned it on with it right side up"

but two new bulbs, I can appreciate that pain.
