HID Install Question
I have a 01 A4 1.8t that came stock with regular bulbs. I have a DS2 kit with ballasts connected through a relay. I get the bulb out error on the dash everytime I turn on my headlights. I see some people say I need to use a resistor inline to fix it. Others say that you can just hook the power and negative right to the ballast from the stock wiring. I was wondering if anybody has tried this or has any success in doing this. I am just looking for the right way to install the hid's and not get the error code anymore without messing anything up. Thanks.

I'm interested in knowing that myself as I'm going to convert my foglights to HID

RE: HID Install Question
i guess it depends on what brands and where you plan to
install that hid fog light. i use to have a set of catz fog and they're hella nice and bright. |
RE: HID Install Question
I hate to say this but call up LLTEK, they have a part for like 20 or 30 bucks that will take care of your problems. Its a voltage stabilizer, and only needed on some HID upgrades like yours. BTW, who makes your kit?
