HIDs on non-ecode headlights?

Default HIDs on non-ecode headlights?

will it work? what are the pros and cons of doing this to a non ecode? im new to this and need help i have been used to HIDS on all my cars i just got this one (b6).

so you mean to tell me your headlights are non ecode? sweet. so what is te big diffrence between ecodes and no ecode beside just the look? im trying to search and find the diffrence in light projection but cant?

No mine are ecodes. Ecodes have a distinct cut off beam pattern. Meaning there is a line where the light starts and stops. US (DOT) housings have a blurry light pattern. Here's a pic of what ecode light pattern looks like:

so the regular hologens will just be blurry? what do you think a guy is selling me some cleared out headlights oem for 375 they are non hid ecode though. think its a good buy? i have a mccullock 8000k hid system i just need to purchase bulbs how do you think it might look?

Wait you are confusing me. Cleared out headlights are only North American. Ecodes are clear to begin with so can't be "cleared out". 375 is a horrible price. Ecodes are less than that brand new.

Jest i meant this guy was selling me some USDM cleared headlights for 375 the pair that is. Where can i get the pair Ecodes for that price? i have 8000k hids already and im not gonna use the oem hid kit i just need housings. used would be great. i have a 2002.

the OEMHID kit looks very interesting and easy to do. question is...my car is Certified Pre-owned and I do not want to lose that warrenty. will this void my warrenty situation at all?

Well it's not going to void the entire warranty of the car. Just don't expect them to replace the lightbulbs anymore.

Default just got hids installed.

Just got the hids installed into my car. they look sweet the installation is clean. Not to bad on non xennon headlamps.
