Replace the front fog lights of my A4 with new H7 bulbs. (just the bulbs, not a HID kit)

I would really appreciate some tips and guidance. Thanks guys.

 

The black face around the lense pops off, then there are 2 screws that hold the lense in then you can get to the bulb.

 

Do you know what type of screws??

 

i just went out and looked, it appears the screws are small hex screws....dang, I do not think I have that type of screwdriver....

 

You should create a sig so we know what car you have

On my B5, remove the front sectional piece, behind that are two philips (+)screws on one side, one philips(+) screw on the other side. Pull straight out (watch for the adjustment screw on the inside)

 

I think my car has hex screws which sucks. Thanks guys. I got to the point where I took the front piece off, saw the screws.....but do not want to force anything in fear of stripping them.

BTW, I have a 2002 A4 1.8t Quattro

 

Some one tell me the size is actually H11 for 2002 A4's FOGLIGHTS, not H7? Anyone know this info?

 

I got H11's for my 2000 A4...

Take out the center side grills then attack the covers for the fog lights... Remove the fog light housing and turn the back of it, replace the bulb and install as you took it out...

Tips: Unplug the wire for the foglight before removing it... The fog light housing is a PITA to get out but it will come out at a funny angle, the bracket where the screw goes in needs to clear the bumper, take your time use your brain not force... The back part of the fog light housing you twist off is keyed, so make sure you put it back on the correct way, one of the notches is wider then the others...
