My dealer is saying he can only sell me a new A4 for $1000 over invoice price... Does anyone have any take on what is the normal price range???

$1,000 over invoice isnt too bad. Make sure you find out what the invoice cost is first though. KBB says its about $29,000, so if you pay about $30,000 that would be fair i guess.
That^ info is based on an 06 2.0t quattro manual.

A $30,000 loan with $0 down/no trade gives you a payment of almost $600/month, over 5 years at 7% just so you know. Id rather be shot before having a car payment that high. 7% isnt an unrealistic interest rate to have with decent credit either. Unless you are paying CASHOLA!!!!!

I got 4.5% on the loan for my avant... That was with my bank. I have very good credit tho, and that was 2 years ago.

$1000 over invoice is typical of a competetive new Audi sale. Audi does not discount many of its vehicles - particularly their mainstay sellers lik the A4. Even the Loyalty program only offers $500 off a new car... sheesh.

 

Thats a real good rate, especially on a used car. Our loan for our Audi was less than $10,000 so we took a hit on the interest rate, so they added like .75% to the rate cuz we didnt borrow "enough" money from them. Rates were deffinately a lot lower 2 years ago.
