How to pull out A4 Radio to get serial no
hi guys,
I have an audi a4 1998. Its battery went flat earlier this week so my radio is locked. To obtain the unlocking code i need the serial no. Is there any way to pull the radio out without the specific tools. I really dont know to get hold of the tools to pull it out and I dont fancy going to the Audi stealership since they charge about £30-£50 to unlock the radio. Thanks |

do a search on radio removal then look for a site that will do it over the Internet something like this
http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en...ecode&meta= and in most cases they do it for £5.00 |

I don't think you need the tools for a 98-99 since they have the concert headunit not the symphony. It should be just 4 bolts and it pops out

Even the old delta radios use the radio keys.

quick answer, go to circuit city or best buy and drive around back to the installation center, they should be glad to do it for free. They have the keys and everything, however, the keys prolly arnt a bad investment if you do alot with audio.
