OK that's it. I'm getting my Giag pc-16/j31

financially I am not ready to go with gt28rs or something like that for now so I'll go with less power option.

Since here is cold (Columbus), I'll wait for the FMIC til spring.
I'll run my chip with K03 until it dies, when it dies, I'll have reason to buy K04

I'll order my injectors, mbc, and frp tonight.

I'll be ready to go like mid next week I think...

ok you can not run the j31/pc16 file on the stock K03 you will most likley blow your motor also with these files you need a adjustable FPR and a FMIC for sure if anything get the K04 first and run your k03 software on this it won't good but you won't blow your motor this way

 

and since you are a 98 you can not run the J31 at all this set up is only for the 2000

 

I checked the local giac dealer they said I can. my is accually 98.5 if it makes different.

 

what they said you can run the J31 software on a 98.5 ? or that you could run all of this without the K04 ?

 

about a month or so ago, I took my car to a giac local dealer. They checked my ecu and told me I have two programs to choose. One is the normal chip, the other is require 310 injectors and 3 bar fpr.

So I assume that second program is pc-16/j31. He said I can run this on k03 but for a short time because the turbo will die easly. And I have no problem if my turbo dies. You can think that this project will be a good test that shows how long k03 can handle it

I sent e-mail to Giag, see what they will say.

whynot just enjoy ur chip untill u have the money to do the fmic, injectors, upgraded software, k04, fpr and whatever else. or you could do it piece by piece but in the correct order so it gets more and more power the safe and right way. i think you'll run into other problems running the pc16 kit on a k03, maybe u wont blow your motor, but you will probably burn something else out trying to compensate. you'll be working too many things harder than they should be. wat alls done to the car? if its just chipped with no exhaust or dv, u would becrazy to do this before any of that.
