Idle Air Control Valve - Where is it!?

Okay i've searched my ass off looking for a solution but nothing to be found. I've got a 98 A4 Q 2.8L engine code AHA, my check engine light came on and reads that the Idle Air Control Valve is bad. Ok cool so buy a new one and replace it right? Not so easy, when they switched to the 98 with the 30v engine they did away with the bolt on IACV. Or so i've been told my local Audi dealership. Does anyone know of a cure for this problem???

The only place that valve can be is on the throttle body so it can control the throttle. So you need a new throttle body.

is there a way to possibly clean that valve instead of forking out big bucks for a new TB?
