EDIT: Dang... sooner or later I will get used to this format.

ya make your own thread. post lots of pics and we can have a bov debate lol
No chance of that, man. I'm not coming in as noob and starting that war... lol. I personally don't want a BOV, but at least on the B6 platform, nobody running BOV has had problems. And a lot of those guys are putting out some serious hp/tq numbers and the VAG COM logs are not showing any rich/lean problems. Not liking the sound I can understand; trying to justify it with the "Our cars must have 100% recirc" is not a valid argument as no one seems to be able to show problems on the B6 directly or indirectly related to the use of BOV. To each his own. My 710N DV is cheap, and sounds almost BOV-sounding-like anyhow with a Carbonio V2 intake. And it's a true BPV/DV so I won't have to worry if the naysayers ever do end up being correct. Nice forum, though! Getting some pics together this week; I'll post then. Hate to threadjack, but here is my bay (prior to Stage III+ install) and undercarriage:

And here is my driveway at our last local 4-ring gtg:

Thanks on the welcome. I have no idea what I'm talking about; that's why I love forums. I learn something new everyday. I do all of my own work, however, from body to mechanical. some stuff I learn by trial and error. Nice to have VAG COM and a bentley manual though... lol.
Love your avatar. "The Dude" rocks.
