Planing to race a nissan sentra spec v 2005 with my 98 Audi A4 1.8T

Any Suggestions or Predictions?

race him from a dig.. you have an advantage

 

My car is still stock... jsut got it 2 weeks ago... his car... i think all he has done to it is an exaust.... his specs are 175 Hp and 180 Torque

Mine are 150 Hp and 155 Torque....

Im guessing hes gona win... but i dont know cause of the all wheel drive and turbo

 

All wheel drive only helps from a dig if you launch, which really wont help too much on stock power and stock clutch.

The turbo doesn't change the fact that you still have 25hp/25tq less than him at the crank, with more drivetrain loss.

Sooooooooo you're gonna lose, unless he's a crappy driver.


Now, if you were chipped... then it'd be another story.

 

How much more power will my car output if i get it chipped?

 

AWE says from 150chp to 20chp, and the torque goes up to 230 at the crank.

 

u will lose too much tq coming from the spec v chipp ur car exhaust and intake u will beat him.

 

Bench racing

 

get a chip before you race him, from a roll you have no chance, you have 25hp less at the crank in a heavier car with twice the drivetrain loss.... with the chip and exhaust you will slam him
