it's hackable. It's simple electronics. It's not directly tuneable.
I can hack it to not throw a code when the MAF sees boost. I can trick it so it sends a different signal to the ECU. I can modify the fuel injectors to work at 60-105% duty cylce with very simple resistors. With bigger injectors (290's) at 101% duty cycle it would be good to a max of 350 hp.
That really all you need. It'd pushing the air at XXX CFM and the fuel would be adequate. To tune it to perfection an outside source would be necassary, which could be an SAFC. I don't know exactly how accurate it would be though. It can adjust fuel +/-50% in 200 rpm increments up to 10k rpm I believe. With a wideband I suppose it could be accurate enough to make decent, reliable power, for some reason I don't trust it though.

I'm still researching into FM more. If I can find something better while being reasonable I would obviously go with that.
I guess I could get the blower, make the brackets, get some acceptable injectors, and mock up the charge pipes.

I also would like to find some kind of reasonable ignition module, it's not completely necassary but will yield more gains in the end.

I found a S/C for the 12V 2.8 on ebay and it is CHEAP, so I guess it could be done.....
