Hello All!!
This is my first message on this forum, so bare with me because I really don’t know where to start or end. Recently I purchased a 1999Audi a4 2.8 v6 Quattro w/53,000. It’s in immaculate condition inside and out (well maybe 2 or 3 minor scratches). But besides all of that, it’s a nice, plain, normal Audi. Currently, I have my toy sitting garage because I’d like roll out in it around May or June. I’d also like to start hookin’ my ride up a little bit between now and then. I got so excited about the idea that I order taillights off of ebay (Black Gun-Metal Altezza taillight??). I would also like to put a light tint on my windows and throw those 19” or18” gunmetal rs4 wheels on it, if that’s possible because I don’t wanna alter the vehicle. With all of that being said, I guess I would like to know what some of you think about my plan (taillights, tints, etc.) any ideas or suggestions….I’m open to anything, but I don’t want to put a kit on it.
Thanks and I look forward to hearing from some of you…..Oh yeah, I tried to put a picture on here to show you guys what im starting off with (before pic)…. but dont know if it will work..thanks…C-Bing

nice ride, I would do some 18's with a coilover set with a light tint
RE: I'm new..need idea's
Agree,
how about
Making sure your car works properly and that all basic maintenance has been performed. The sexiest looking Audi is one that runs well.
All the bling in the world wont make up for a worn transmission, poorly performing engine, bad control arms, worn brakes, a car that leaks, or has bad wheel bearings.
19 inch wheels are way too big for this car. You are likely to lose serious power.

18 would probably be better, but that Is my own opinion.
Check some of my previous posts on basic fluid exchanges that will likely add a few years to your car. It costs money up front, but putting in fresh gear oil, replacing PS fluid, brake fluid, antifreeze and differential oils will pay off in the long run. Make sure, however, that you use the proper oils and fluids for an Audi.
Also get friendly with a local with VAG-Com or invest in one. It will again save you $$$$ in the long run.

I would suggest sticking with the tails you have, they are clean. i wouldn't tint on a silver car, i personally only like it on black. i would definatly look into some espec headlights, and some 18" RS4 rims. other than that, wicked ride dude. keep it clean, and audi is gonna turn heads just for being an audi.

You already have the best looking tailights available, please don't put on altezza's. I would do maintenance, suspension, and exhaust. Nice Car and congrats BTW thats a 99.5 just so you know!
