lol... there's two button on the wiper stalk one on the end and one on the bottom. the one on the end scrolls through the different screen option (avg. mpg, mph, miles left till empty etc.) and the button on the bottom turns the screen on and off. but when you turn the car on initially the screen powers on automatically when its in the off setting to tell you OK or whatever, then goes off.

check it out... try hitting the button on the bottom of the stalk and see if that turns the screen on and off. then read your owners manual. lol.

I'm not sure what it's called but there is a company in CA that will reprogram the cluster for you, and also reset the mileage correctly. it costed me under $200 to get that done including shipping.

sry i cant come up with the name but if you google insturment cluster repair california and then make some phone calls you'll probly find them

there is a alphanumeric number printed on the top of the instrument cluster. This code must be matched with your "new" cluster or the display just won't work. I got a new cluster from www.shokan.com. That place is amazing and the lady there is very nice. Cost me $275 and I replaced it myself. Best deal I know of... besides the deal previously mentioned without a contact name or number

My cluster doesn't have the options like all of yours...is it because I'm tiptronic? Is there anyway to swap out my cluster for a functional one?
