instrument cluster
 

hey guys was looking though my manual today and i saw that the instrument cluster in my book is different from whats actually in my car. in my car it shows the temp and the transmition nums, the one in the book showsthe temp then trans number mpg and i hues mph. is this from an S4? if i get my hands on one can i put it in my car, or are there sensors that i dont have?

one more thing, on my temp reading, it shows a star next to it sometimes. what does that mean?

not sure about the cluster but the star next to the outside temp is actually a snowflake which warns the driver of slick or icy conditions.

Do you have any buttons on the windshield wiper stalk, on the end of the stalk and/or on the bottom? These are the buttons that control the trip computer features, if you have it in your car.

umm. no, but i dont believe i asked any such question about the trip. i just asked about the instrument cluster
