well your wrong...take a look at the "5v" posted on the engine, that means 5 valves per cylinder... if u can do simple math that would be 5 x 6 = 30....your wrong, thanks for allowing me to prove myself..

have you even seen a 12v engine compared to a 30v engine? maybe you should speak only about things your educated on so something like this doesnt happen again in the future.

 

Look man, I have nothing agenst either of you, I barly know you two at all. I do know that you need to stop all the crap you've been giving him. Its unessisary and should not be tollorated. If you really have a prob with someone take it up with them in a private chat,AIM, PM something other than here. I'm not trying to single you out, cus I know your not the only one, but lately many threads have been locked or erased cus of this stuff. If you want to disagree, fine, keep the emotions out of it.

 

jeez thank you so much, it really is getting annoying...i take 95% of all the heat on this site, and i dont take things too personal so im probably the best person to take heat. But its honestly to the point where its like...dang, that was really un-necessary. but whatever...this thread is going no where accept for some more arguing it seems like. i got my answer, maybe this should be locked.

 

Good point. Im also taking the time to vent here.... Every time I come here, all I want to do is gain some knowledge, and I'm sure thats what most of us come here for (some of us come here to enlighten the others - thanks). But it seems like lately every time ive clicked on a f******* link in the a4 forum I get to read some little girls bickering and b******* about dumb s***. Can we all please get along and not fight about dumb s*** that really dosen't even matter, like if a car in a picture has a 12v or a 30v. I'd greatly appriciate it if everyone could keep the fighting down to a minimum, for my sake.

I used to own a 96,A4 12v

I can speak from expierence in 1st & 2nd gear you can tell the diff. You do gain a little liek 5hp-10hp

is the air box mod worth doing? I don't want to waste an hour of my day to do this and have nothing happen for me. Are there any negatives to it, and has anyone got the chance to test it in the snow, becuase that's my biggest fear.
