Manual Boost Controller. They are saying use it to crank the boost to 20psi, and the computer/chip will still read the 18 psi it is boosting for after the psi drop from the front mount.

oook i get it. so i should get the FMIC and a MBC and turn it to 20 and i should be golden right?and ill geta boost gauge too so i know what im running cuz i dont have one right now. Do people have a good MBC that i should look into getting?

Whatever your max boost is now, just make sure that after the fmic install that you are boosting the same as you did before according to your boost gauge. But who knows, you might not even get pressure drop, so if youre gunna try it, get the fmic first and see what happens. If you get pressure loss then get a mbc to kick it up a notch (a small notch.)

jeeeesus that is a huge intercooler
are you kidding? Did you see how thick that is? Its only 2" thick with 2" piping. that would be perfect for people with stock/k04 turbos. Also you shouldnt really see any reall pressure drop.

ahhhhhhh that car is GROSS. lol so that intercooler looks could and i should give it a try? so if i get this and install it will i see/feel anything different? besides the "maybe" prssure drop?

Well, I wouldn't advise putting that IC on a 1.8T. That would probably not have the desired effect.
