Intercooler, reiger, chip, intake
I think ive made my official choice.
I am getting a downpipe added to my exhaust, a GIAC chip, front mount intercooler , front bumper, and a carbon fiber cold air intake for that sweet noise. Tell me what you think. Is there anything that should really come before an intercooler? Also does the sport package on the 2001 1.8T come with sport suspension and a short shifter? |
RE: Intercooler, reiger, chip, intake
You might want to think about getting a K04 instead of the intercooler upgrade. Although either way you'll want to upgrade. Your stock intercooler can handle the K04 fine but the upgraded intercooler does make things way nicer, even for your stock K03. If your not going to have money like this for awhile, you might want to upgrade the turbo first. Just a thought. The 2001 A4 does not have a short shifter stock, but you can buy them, and I'm not sure about the suspension.

RE: Intercooler, reiger, chip, intake
From the research that ive done, ecs makes a decent front mount kit for audis. But i might look into getting a Spearco kit or an HKS, they make a kit for audis as well.

RE: Intercooler, reiger, chip, intake
you might want to check neuspeed only makes 1 exhaust system for our 2001 audi and it comes with a down pipe so getting a new one isn't going to help much if you live in a state that doesn't has emissions get a test pipe (also called a cat delete pipe) it will help out a lot more. i have the same car with the same exhaust as you do

RE: Intercooler, reiger, chip, intake
For the intercooler imo i would go SPP, not too expensive and a very nice setup-spp intercooler
