The front interior door arm rests (the handles that you use to pull the door closed) on my 2000 a4 are in serious need of help. They are scratched, gouged and the paint is coming off in some parts, probably due to the soft plastic that they are made of. Does anyone know the part number for these, or where I can order new ones (they are tan in color)? Or, has anyone had any luck painting them?

I am having the same problem with my doors.. I looked at vagcat but no luck.. I don't want to repaint them but that looks like what it is coming down to. Unless Someone can help me and point me in the direction of where to buy a new one.

 

i also am having this problem with my 97' a4.... thinking about getting them done professionly/ or painting them

ya same here, feels wierd when i go to close the door and lay my hand on it. 2002 a4 3.0

 

Oh ya and it looks really bad.. got the two tone white and tan on the handle..
