Default It just wouldn't work!

Hey Guys! I have a 99.5 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro and I need to fix this problem as soon as possible. The issue is that my power door locks just doesn't work at all. I check the fuses and all of them are just fine, just wondering what else can I check beside the code reader(because I'm going to use it tomorrow). I have to lock everything manually from the inside to make shure no ones steal my Sick B5 LOL. Also, I just install an Alpine amp a couple of days ago, do you think when i did the wiring, I screwed up one of the wires or something? or maybe something else.

Any Advice is appreciated! Thanks for taking the time to read!

The door locks are operated by a vacuum pump in the trunk. Poke around where your amp is installed and make sure you didn't accidently disconnect any wires.

Can you please tell me where the actually check? I mounted the amp on the right rear passenger seat(bolted on back) with the extra wiring under the rear seats. I just wanna make shure what i need to look for. Pics? or what color wires is it? or where is it usually located? So i can see if its actually the wire unplug.

THANKS!!!

It's in the right rear of your trunk underneath the trim.

Find someone with a real VAGCOM and check for codes in the electric locking system.

1 - Vacuum line
2 - Right-front door lock actuator
Removing and installing page 57-12
3 - Vacuum line connectors
Disengage harness connectors page 57-42
Additional vacuum line connectors are located at bottom of A-pillar and in boot at B-pillar
4 - Right-rear door lock actuator
Removing and installing page 58-14
5 - Fuel filler flap lock actuator
Removing and installing page 57-46
6 - Central locking system pump
Removing and installing page 57-49
7 - Distribution box
Connected with all other wires excluding wire for rear lid
8 - Left-front door lock actuator
Removing and installing same as for right door
9 - Rear lid lock actuator
Removing and installing page 57-47
10 - Left-rear door lock actuator
Removing and installing same as for right door

Central locking system pump , removing and installing

The pump for the central locking system is located in the right-rear of the luggage compartment under the luggage compartment trim.

- Fold back luggage compartment trim and remove insulation -3- with pump for central locking system -1-.
- Disengage connecting line -2-.
