Default K04 Software

I have a B6 A4 tip completely stock except for a K04 running on stock software..I want to open it up, just dont where to get the software and which file to get, cuz if i heard correctly there are 2 right? Also will the CVT tranny be able to handle the increased torque? And what about the internals?

with a ko4 internals will be fine. for the most power i would say go with the j-31 hammer file that giac has. its got good power, good reliability....plus your tranny should be able to handle it.

hmm..not sure of the specifics...but i will assume considering its pretty much a pc-16 file for the b6, you will need injectors, fmic, exhaust, dv, maybe a fpr.

Try some searching. I actually eplained all this in a thread last night.
PC16 is ONLY for 97-99.5
J31 is ONLY for 00
Hammer is ONLY for 01
FX is the GIACk04 file for the B6
