Default key and transmitter

I lost my flip key and contacted the dealership. They said it would be $300 all together to get it replaced. Does anyone know of a cheaper way or a way around paying a hundred bucks labor to program the transmitter? Help please????????????

Damn, it cost me like $120-130 or so to get a new key, transmitter and have it cut and the rest of the keys reprogrammed.

Do you have another dealer in your area you can call and compare prices with? most of the time if you can say X dealer gave me this price but your closer can you match it, they will. But it has to be a legit price, dont pull numbers out of the air and hope they bite.

i got quoted about $250 for a key along with the remote.
ebay's a better deal as Hove says. just make sure you match the FCC # and that the key is uncut. sometimes, you can get a remote and an uncut key separately and then get it cut by a dealer.
