Default ko3 boost

I was wondering what the highest amount of psi the ko3 can handle putting out. I have a 2000 audi a4 1.8tQ 5spd, borla cat-back exhaust, 3 inch inlet pipe, turboxs bypass valve k and n drop in filter and turbo timer and an apr chip. I am interested in turning my boost up even more than it has gone up from the chip but I wasnt sure where my limit with it was. I am very skeptical of pushing it past 18psi.

You can set a mbc up to 20psi, kinda pointless and the fact that that you won't get the extra fuel needed for that boost amount since your chipped. Do you have a boost gauge? If so, your chipped and you notice how the boost fades past 5k rpms. It will be worse if you up the boost more.

18psi is a good cap. Any more than that, and that little K03 is spinning too fast to make meaningful amounts of boost.

Naah, high oct and spiking to 22psi would be fine. Wouldnt ran it alot though. 24psi took care of my ko4 fast.

Well, yeah, that much boost wouldn't really explode it, but 20psi is in the realm of uselessness for that little turbo. It can't flow that much air.

^^^Yeah. You can spike 18psi all day. To hold 18psi would mean you'd be spiking at like 22-23, which is bad for your fist-sized "turbo."

Spiking at 14psi would be super weaksauce. Don't be a *****. My car has spiked 17-18 and held 15 for 100,000 miles.
