Your exactly right, there larger and flow more only because the walls are thinner, making the flow rate higher. The b6 guys tried to run them and it wasnt good at all. Dave at Ecode tried to tune for them.

ive never heard of reliability issues with them i have several people running them and running 23lbs steady for about 6 months now and no problems engine or turbo wise.

Hey sweet, bolt it up and see what happens. Just have cash to fix, Ask around any forum thats been around for a while and see what they say about a e05. Hope it all works out for ya. That turbo can flow 300hp, just not reliable.

its a 99.5. And yes, i do want to go with a k04 but thanks for the suggestion tip5. Now where can i get one and how much is the j31 file. Also i have a stage 1 southbend clutch, will this hold it?

mr. germancarmaniac, you will want the j31 file if you are newre than 99.5 ...but if you are 99.5 and below, you want the pc-16 file. the ko4 will fit the stock manifold, and ive seen 260 hp and 300 ft lb. get a fmic, injectors, fpr, and a nice free flowing exhaust and you should see some good numbers.

thanks b5, now where can i get a good price on all of this stuff. And would the cheaper ebay fmic work for my purpose?

ps how much is the j31 file? giac right?

um...ill take a picture of mine...doesnt look half bad, but ill be upgrading the core.
