yeah i just got my car chipped, with the giac-x chip and im planning on upgrading to ko4 soon. do i need to get it re flashloaded or do i need different software

its a 2001. the x chip is for the 2001

 

Why would you pay for a k03 chip if you have plans to put in a k04 soon?? Sounds like a waste of money! Your just gunna need new software when you do that. At least youll get a discount for already havikng the k03 chip.

 

GIAC offers an upgrade program where they give you a discount for the upgrade. Not sure of yours will apply or not but you definetly WILL need the get your software done again.
