Anyone ever find a nice way to mount license plate on front of car without having to put screws through bumper. I bought my car in PA which has no front plate but now need to put one on and it just blows to put screws through bumper. thanks

i just got an ultrasport bumper too for my black b6 (essentially doing an entire usp body kit conversion to my stock b6).

god, do i hate ruining that front with a plate...that's why i'm doing this ; )

 

Zip tie the plate to the grills in the front. Its easy and functional. I was having the same issue with my car when i saw this on a customer car.

 

or just use 3m industrial strength double sided tape. i use it on my euro plate

 

I sure wish the PO of my car would have been this thoughtful... I bought in VA (front tag state) and live in NC (no front tag).

BIG nasty holes in the bumper. Your successor will thank you

 

I know Jestnomen used rare earth magnets to keep his plate on the front of his B7.
