LL TEK Blow off/ divertor valve
Has anyone did the install on one of these?

Will this one still be harmful to the car? I am looking for a little show, but reliability as well because I drive the car everyday. Or should I just skip this and go with new exhaust and chip (which I plan to do eventually anyways)? Thanks.

hey i was thinking of puting on a blow off valve on my car but for some reason ppl on this thing really reallyyy hate blow off valves lol which sucks cuz i really want that noice my self also lol
The reason people on this board don't "like" BOV's is because that isn't the way the Audi turbo system is designed. What a "sufficient amount of air for the metering system" is would be my concern. Unless this product acutally creates more air than the airbox takes in, I don't see how it wouldn't cause an air metering error. Check the archives here, this issue has been more than well documented.
Dont worry about the BOV its fine you will encounter a cel but that can be easily taken car of. you dont have to worry about running rich b/c you will only run rich for the split second that the BOV releases the air into the atmosphere. other than that you will be running like normal.
