Locking system
 

I have 99 Audi A4 1.8T and the locking systems does not work. Does anyone what might be the problem??? I checked the fuse and the fuse is fine.

do you mean the remote doesn't work or the power lock switch doesn't work?

mine has locking problems as well.
1. i set the switch to light internal up automatically whenever i open the doors or shut off the engine. however, whenever i turn the engine on or lock the car, all the lights should go off but they won't.
2. one feature of the central locking system is that all the windows and the sunroof will close by themselves if you use the key to lock the car and hold it in lock position until it is done. sometimes it works, sometimes not.
does anyone have an idea to check out what causes the problem?

the car wont lock when u manually lock it wit the door switches or is it just the remote
