Looking to buy a used car, MAYBE A4 ? *HELP

As a graduation gift, ill be getting a new car. new meaning something used from $8000 - $10,000, something that is very reliable (nothing american). So far my choices are between,

honda prelude (90k miles)
accord coupe 98-01 (70 k miles)

and finally, an Audi a4 (2.8) 5 speed (85k miles ).

From the research that ive done, it seems that the a4 has alot of mechanical problems after 50 k miles. I know that it isnt going to be like a honda in terms of costs to fix, but in general, is it a good choice to buy a a4 with alot of miles?

Here are the 2 im looking at

* No matter what car i get, i plan to keep it clean. Just get some 18's, and maybe a drop or something.

Appreciate all the help

*just a side note, the reason why im looking for a car that is both stylish and reliable is because ive had some crappy problems in the past with used cars. Relying on the name brand of cars has prooved to be a stupid move.

They should all be reliable cars. The audi just costs more to maintain if you dont do the work yourself. Search more on audi reliability and youll find that most of the people that bitch about it are just bitter because they get raped by the audi dealer's labor costs because they dont know how to turn a wrench. Of course ultimately, anything in the Honda family is going to be most reliable, but a Honda is far from an Audi when it comes to a solid, unique, stylish ride. The satisfaction you get from driving an A4 is far more than most other cars in its price range.

The 2.8 is supposed to be very reliable.

You should be OK there.

Hey both of those look nice. I would go for the one that has better service records.
