Yeah, I have the same car and I was unable to find the CC module myself. I wonder if they did something different in the 2K Manual cars.

Anyone know something on this?

It's mounted over the glove box, so you can't see it from that perspective...to see it, you have to get your head down there and look straight up. It's probably at about the same level as the aluminum trim and maybe slightly left of being centered over the glove box. Mine had a brown connector.

Definitely not. Removing it wouldn't make it easier to get at the module anyway. Once you've crawled down there and located it and the 8mm nut, I suggest sitting in the passenger seat and tackling it blind. For me, that was much easier than trying to kneel next to the car and twist into a pretzel trying to get a view of the module AND get my hands and ratchet in there.

Well I tried finding it again took off the glove box got my dirty *** bent down in there and still couldnt find it. Ive got a couple pms from other people having the same troubles locating it so Ithink that the 2000 or a 5-speed must be different than the others.

I took an under dash pic

Well acollicott, according to your VIN number it should still be under the dash behind the glove box. This is from elsa web, so if the module isn't there then someone took it out.
