Your first car an Audi or BMW? Don't be dumb... get a cheap car and tool around with it for a while. There will be time later in life for better cars.

When i was looking at getting a new car i hadit down to a bmw 325 and Audi A4. I did a lot of going back and forth between the 2 i was looking at, and decided that i liked the A4 more.I have NEVER regretted thedecision becuase i'm inLOVE with my audi.

For your situation though, Look around at used cars ALOT. If you can find a decent mileage Audi or BMW, then i would get it. Don't be afraid to wait a few weeks to, in order to find the right car. One will eventually show up and then you can get it ! Main thing though is to check its carfax and its service records (need to make sure it was mainted well and taken in for oil changeswhen it was supposed to)

My suggestion for a first car is that unless you know how to do your own repairs, get a Japanese car. Honda or To.

Get a Honda or Toyota as a first car. My first 3 cars were Japanese... those are much easier and much cheaper to take care of than German cars, IMO. When you get used to taking care of Jap cars, then you'll be ready for a German car.
