See if warranty will cover the replacment of the lock cylinder. It sounds to me like someone tried the ol' screwdriver vandalism attack on the lock and damaged it beyond repair.

Maybe I should call it a security feature then. Even with tools or a copied key, you can't get in the car.

I guess they'll have to get in the sunroof, which I forget to close half the time.

Right now if i need to get in the car using the spare key I have to crawl in through the trunk. Of course, it sets off the alarm so I have to be sure to get to the real key quickly.
