Ok so somehow I fixed my starter motor today by trying to pull start my car. Dont know how but it fixed it. Now the car can turn on usually have to crank on the starter for quite awhile. but then it has a real rough idle(sometimes dies). And when I press on the accelorator it revs really high and just stays there for awhile then comes back down to a rough idle again. Its also smoking alot out the exaust.

 

Could be a vaccum leak.

 

Could be would it make like a wooshing sound when i rev. How do I find/fix the leak.

 

Maybe you have a boost leak. Have you looked under th hood?

 

ya i have the sound comes from somewhere around the intake and also sometimes seems to have like intake backfire something like that that makes a loud noise.

sometimes when i start it it is but sometimes not and sometimes its flashing.

 

have you checked the power wiring for the starter motor? when your car revs (rough idle) your computer should eventually relearn the programming to control so don't step on the pedal and rev it more. when i last disconnected my battery it did the same thing, if you wait it should smooth out and eventually won't happen after a few starts. or it could just be something else.....

 

Get your ecu scanned

 

Ive got a scanner and its givin me a few codes that ill post in the morning but im workin on getting my mechanic friend over with his vag com. and ill try what orangea4 was sayin but there were problems before the starter went out for lunch for a day.
