Magnaflow 14862 install.
Hey guys i just got the magnaflow #14862 for my audi 2.8 and on the exhaust it has the straight tip out of the center of the muffler. And yet for the stock exhaust for the 2.8 it goes into the muffler on the side. So me and my friend were planning on cutting/bending and welding. Yet is there an easier way to do it?
Also audi is one hard *** car to work on. I have never struggled so much putting in a short shifter. Or springs.

As far as the exhaust goes, instead of bending the pipe thats on there, I would cut it off a little further up and weld on a curved piece that fits. You can pick up curved pieces of pipe pretty cheap, and I think it would make it a lot easier on you, and you would end up with a higher quality job in the end.
Sorry wood, i thought i Pm'd you back and said Nevermind. I was very intersted in it, It sounded great etc. But i decided to get a rs4 grill short shifter, H&R lowering springs and a muffler rather than a used full exhaust. In my opioion it seemed like a better decision.
