Hi over here in the UK no tuning companies make manifolds for the 1.8T A4's (just the S3's and golfs)

So i thought i would ask you folks what ones you recommend since a few companies in the USA make them.

Also if you have one what was the rough power increases you recieved?

 

give us some links to where u found these aftermarket manifolds...also for what turbo r u talkin about bc there are alot of ones for t3, t3/t4, or gt25/28 series turbos. ive also seen one for a k26

The racetec one is a standard manifold bored out. I have heard the standard manifold can crack on a tuned car.


My car is running the standard K03s.

Who makes big turbo manifold kits? Like K24?

I read an article that MTM was working on a Stage 4 K24-based kit, but I haven't seen anything more about it and no email reply from Hoppen. This is what I want. [sm=smiley1.gif]

 

dunno of any manifolds. but i'd rather headers (if they can make them) if anyone makes them. probably hard to find headers and/or manifolds... beings as they are so much more complex than ur standard manifolds they are going to be more expensive, and thus have a smaller market lowering the profit margin considerably

 

ur right bc when i took my stock manifold off just with no mods it was cracked. the tubualr manifolds in the last pic arent worth 500 but, what they will do is raise ur spool up in a higher rpm range. u will see the power more up top as ull create some lag. it would probally be best if u went with the ported and polished manifold since u r just running k03.

as for that manifold i dont remember where i saw i just came across it off a yahoo search and by the way it was 1000 bux
