probably but 337whp on stock internals was good enough for me. o ya that was on 21psi at alt of 5000 feet in denver. when i had the car in texas it ran 40psi for a few days before i turned it down, still on stock internals. any more power and the motor would have blown like an atom bomb. i was going to go to 034 if i kept the car but i decided to part and start over on a more tuner friendly car

t3/t4's are great on stock internals. The power is much more gradual and peak torque is pushed back further in the powerband. Anyone looking for big numbers and dont want to swap rods should go 50trim.

But 337whp on 21 psi is high, plus if you add in the alt...100+octane? Because thats more like 23-24psi numbers on pump unless your running water/meth.

That must of been a ton of lemmy tuning!

*** I saw in your gallery you had a safc select. I keep hearing people claim that adaptaion will cancel out the changes, you have anything like that happen to you? would you recommend it?

I dont have personal experience with lemiwinks, but i have also heard that an adaptation, or even simply clearing fault codes will reset any modified parameters made with lemmy.

I was refering to his safc, not lemmy. But i havent heard anyone claiming that clearing codes or anything short of unplugging the battery to reset the lemmy changes.

I read about it on fortitude and on AZ mostly about lemmy settings being reset. I wouldnt expect lemmy settings to work well at allwith a safc

Lemmy changes the settings in the ecu via vagcom and safc cuts the messages to the sensor and changes them and the sends on a new message via hacking into the lines.

The point of using a safc would be because it will allow you add fuel in 200rpm intervals as opposed to riching up the entire fuel curve with lemmy.

Vag com isnt used for lemmy. Lemmy is its own interface. Just because you use an obdII cable doesnt make it vag com. Im not very knowledgable about safc so i wont argue there. But I get what you are saying.

Im using vagcom as a general cable interface that will allow you to use lemmy, Ross-tech or other. A safc has a few features like stated above that will work better than lemmy, but you would still needlemmy for things like adding/sudtracting timing and fuel at idle (compensating for larger injectors).

If you havent, you might want to read up on a apexi safc, many import guys love them. Would be nice for anyone with a bt upgrade (not counting a k04 as a BIG TURBO)
