sounds like you have a boost leak, i had a ko4 i would spike as high as 25 but with the mbc i held it back to 20, and I would hold around 16psi on a real cold day 18, with my passat i would spike to 18-20 and hold 12-15 with my apr chip, if you fall below 8 there is a problem..

well that depends on what you want, what I did was i just kept messing with it till I liked where the boost was, for the ko3 keep spikes around or under 20 so set it just under 20 and you should be fine, you should get a holding gain of 1-3 psi with the mbc

 

That's what i was thinking i just wanted to make sure.

 

its an MBC so its touch and go, its a cheep fix to a bad problem..

 

i dont fall below 8....i heard that this might be becuase mine is a 98, and the computer is set up different.

 

i thought you said you fall to 8 or so.. either way thats to low, my freinds 98 with a giac chip never fell below 13 or so, the chip controls the boost

 

what should i do then? i have checked for leaks everywhere, and nothing...

 

did you do a presure test there are a few DIY test for boost leaks.. check you n75 valve might not be pluged, and check to make sure your have you DV installed properly it might be backwards, or if its a stock DV buy a new one..

 

I have forge007 and i have it just like stock(people told me it doesnt matter)
