I have a 03' 1.8TQ that I bought a few months ago that came only with the key and no remotes. So, I don't have any numbers to look for on the inside of the remote that came with the car.

I don't really feel like spending $200 at the dealer for a new remote and key.

 

I would worry about if the local Audi dealer will cut the blank key... and even more concerned if they would program the key fob or not because you didn't buy it from them.
