Alright, so I haven't really been to concerned about this, as it has never worked since I bought my car last March, but I thought I would try and find out anyway.

So, I did some searching to no avail. As show by the title of my post I have an '03 3.0Q A4 andfor whatever reason I can't seem to get the damn memory seat to work, I've asked the dealer about how to reset and tried it, but all it ever does is when I press memory 1 for example the seat just moves back, it never holds a position.

Any ideas?

 

To store the seat, you have to hold the memory button and whatever button you want to store it in (say 1) down together for at least 1 second. Also, make sure that the system isn't off when you do this (Red button in the front).

Yea....I've done that, just doesn't seem to want to work

 

The control unit for the memory seats may have failed. The one in my S4 went bad. Thankfully it was under warranty.

 

Any idea what the cost is for the control module? If it's cheap I'd fix it....If not I'll live without it....I have been for the last 15 months anyway.........
