i just bought an 03 a4 3.0 6 spd

well the passenger side mirror housing doesnt pivot like the driver side does (in and out) when i got out of the car to see if it was manual or electrical i touched it with some firmness but not like a put every ounce of my body into it and it moved rather freely, then when it gets like right next to the window it locks in, kinda of like if i fold the mirrors in all the way??? idk whats wrong with it please any input...

 

your motor may be stuck or shot, bring it back to where u bought it and demand htey fix it
